Iran Summit & Conference 2005
Bringing together key Iranian business and UK suppliers
in a totally exclusive and high level environment

CWC Gulf Summits in Iran ...

CWC Gulf opened a main office in Tehran during September 2004. Working with a number of Iranian Government Ministries CWC Gulf is undertaking project development and financing for many Iranian, European and Asian Companies.

In January 2005 CWC Gulf were asked to structure and organise a highest level business Summit conference in Tehran and to be scheduled for Autumn 2005. This is not to be missed as it is a unique opportunity for UK business to meet top Iranian Government officials and business executives under the umberella of the Iran Government and working alongside the UK DTi. Plus the additional factor of having contracts and projects worth an estimated US$35 billion on the table waiting to be signed; thus making attendance a very cost effective and totally exclusive event.

His Excellency Dr Seyed Mohammed Hossein Adeli the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the U.K. has recently stated:-

Trade with the UK is lagging behind France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Iran is now focusing on expansion in the following areas:-

• Financial Sector (Internationalisation)
• Oil & Gas
• Telecoms
• Autos
• Agribusiness

Iran is a fast growing economy ...

The Iranian economy is currently enjoying a very stable condition. The considerable surplus in the oil stabilization fund and government adherence to implementing non-expansionary fiscal policies has brought about public confidence in economic policies and helped realize a 4.8 percent growth of the economy. It is a business climate conducive for success in many important industry sectors and especially for Banking, Construction, Oil, Telecoms, Pet Chems and Leisure.

Iran Summit
Autumn 2005
An Exclusive and Unique Event

This is a must attend exclusive event for UK business in 2005. CWC Gulf are, with the support of UK DTi and the Iranian Government, structuring a high level business Summit and which is scheduled for Autumn 2005 in Tehran.

What is a summit?
The aim of the CWC Gulf summit is to bring together solution providers and senior level corporate decision makers (delegates) so that the suppliers may procure new business. The delegates attending the CWC Gulf summit will be tabling projects that have already been put out to tender and approved by the relevant ministry and government departments. This means that the suppliers have a guaranteed business proposition before them. The current portfolio is worth an estimated US$35 billion. A fee is charged to the solutions provider/ supplier. This allows the solutions provider to bring two teams to the event; firstly a negotiation team at CEO/Board level and; secondly a project management and feasibility team to carry out the necessary research into the proposed project. This allows two missions to be fulfilled from one country visit. Negotiations are only carried out between the highest level of individuals within each company or organisation. There will be no more than 3 similar solutions providers. This provides exclusivity and a better chance of getting a deal signed between suppliers and delegates. This gives the event a competitive element.

Why is the summit business model successful?
Economies of scale – Getting as many people together at one venue reduces the fixed overhead costs per meeting/ delegate/ supplier. This saving is passed onto the supplier and/or delegate. Multiple/ simultaneous deals can occur, thus maximising revenue gain. Each event is tailored to a theme that relates directly to the delegates area of expertise, and with reference to a CWC Gulf summit the theme would relate directly to the tabled projects on offer. This creates an atmosphere of exclusivity, the core Unique Selling Point (USP) of the summit. The summit allows for key issues to be covered regarding recent technological developments and future area of interest and possible development.
