airline company and which was established
in 2005.
Through carefully refining and utilising
its licenses, traffic routes, infrastructure
and facilities (and those held by its
two associated companies), British Dutch
Airlines will commence a competitive and
efficient service on mid-Atlantic route;
Amsterdam–Curacao-Paramaribo.
Additional services are scheduled to be
operated between the Middle East, Africa,
London and throughout the Caribbean.
The company’s management includes a high
degree of technical operations expertise
and core competences drawn from other
major airlines including both KLM, British
Airways, ALM [Dutch Antilles Airline]
and DCA [Dutch Caribbean Airlines] and
a very high emphasis has been placed on
product quality, safety and reliability.
British Dutch Airlines has been underwritten
by the Lloyds of London insurance market
for US$2.9 billion and is presently seeking
additional strategic investors and partnerships.
